Koha
Das Bibliothekssystem Koha wird als Open Source-Software von Bibliotheken für Bibliotheken entwickelt. Es wird weltweit in über 2'200 gemeldeten Bibliotheken aller Typen eingesetzt.
Das moderne webbasierte System verwendet auch selber durchgehend Open Source-Komponenten: Linux als Betriebssystem; MySQL und Zebra als Datenbanksysteme; SQL, Perl und Javascript als Programmiersprachen. Zum Herstellen von Verbindungen werden die Standardprotokolle HTTP, Z39.50, SRU, LDAP und SIP2 (zur Einsatz mit RFID) verwendet. Als Datenformate werden MARC21 und UNIMARC unterstützt.
Die aktuelle stabile Version ist Koha 3.12.0 vom 19. Mai 2013.
